Our top priorities as members of council will be:
Keep taxes low
Address flooding issues throughout the Village in a fiscally responsible manner
Maintain the Village’s streets and bridges in excellent condition
Support a viable pedestrian/bike path along Bell Road
Preserve the excellence of the SRV police department and Chagrin Falls schools
Councilman Mark Porter introduced legislation on October 13th to accept the three year contract proposal presented by the Chagrin Valley Fire Department.
The second reading occurred on Monday, October 20th.
The third and final reading of Councilman Porter's ordinance was seconded by Councilman Chris Bell and passed Thursday, October 23rd. Councilwoman Cavanagh, Councilman Porter, and Councilman Bell comprised three of the four votes in favor of the ordiance.
